Jiang Miao
Jiang Miao was born in China, graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2005. She has been strongly intrigued by ancient civilization and high wisdom since she was very young. From 2003, she began to explore the idea of yin and yang, point and line, energy and life interpretation, thus forming the eastern worldview of “Nature and Man as one”. In recent years, Jiang has been working on her life themed art. By applying "trigram", symbol of the soul "spiral", and energy-releasing "color" as the major visuals, the works suggest life and truth of spirit, soul, and body; they absorb energy from the invisible and release spiritual energy and magnetic field into the material world, contributing continuous thought of the future of human civilization to the current materialized and problematic world.
Jiang Miao‘s works are collected by multiple public and private institutions, including: Singapore Whale Museum, Central Academy of Fine Arts, Macao Museum, Guiyang Art Museum, Nanjing Museum, Macao Oriental Foundation, Today Art Museum, Hubei Art Museum, FENDI, Tiffany, Mandarin Oriental, Huawei Group, Taiwan Zhongyue Group, etc., and won the Laurentz Gold Medal at the 15th Florence Biennale in 2025, the 2025 Forbes China Contemporary Art Masters Award, and the 2025 Bazaar Art Award-Young Artist of the Year.
